Late last year, Will Hodges ran across a pen that has an incredibly satisfying side click, the Mitsubishi BOXY, and immediately took it apart to understand how it worked, expecting a lot of small, injection molded pieces. What he found was two simple friction fit pieces and he knew he had to try to make an all-metal version.

The Standard 5.8″ comes with a Pilot G2 0.7 mm refill. Diameter: 0.43″, 5.8″ length, and 1.2oz.
