This limited-edition Sprint Run version of the Stretch 2 XL Lightweight features Carpenter Technologys Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel designed for superior wear resistance and toughness. The advanced alloy composition is enhanced by the CarTech Micro-Melt powder metal process, ensuring an ultra-fine, homogeneous grain structure. Equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high-performance steel forms the core of the knifes full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. To make this elite Stretch 2 XL Lightweight even more distinctive, the blade is coated with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finish, and the fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Complementing the striking black-and-burgundy theme, the four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also feature durable black coatings.
